Đulijano Đulić teaches philosophy at a small secondary school and is the author of the archive Speculative Thought. His work takes shape through a sustained dialogue with German Idealism, above all with Hegel, as well as through an engagement with the fundamental questions of philosophy.
This archive is conceived neither as a completed system nor as a space of thought given in advance. It is an attempt to open a space that does not precede thought but comes into being in thought’s own movement — through essays, conceptual elaborations, fragments and working notes in which thought examines itself in the very act of its becoming.
In this archive, no formulation lays claim to finality. Each formulation represents a provisionally attained form of the concept: more developed than the form that preceded it, yet still open to its own re-examination, reshaping and overcoming through that which it has not yet been able to receive or bring to expression from within itself.
At its centre lies an attempt to bring ontology, the experience of consciousness and speculative spirituality once again into a living relation.
Speculative Thought is therefore at once a philosophical archive and a laboratory of thought — the trace of a path from reflection towards in-flection, from the concept towards that which opens itself only partially within and through the concept.
